Hello. I see the world in ever changing perspective, and perhaps, it is this difference in how I notice-- I see things from others-- that compels me to draw, paint, & create. For me, art is a lifeline-- without, I would not be capable of communicating, that is, fully, with the world. Because words, tasks, movement, are not often enough for me to express what I see and want to share; there is art, too. Many of the subjects I have been interested in are from images I have seen-- whether, in person, place, or photograph and image--they come from magazines, dreams, memories, or my life's interactions. It interests me to paint and draw these things again with my own hand to provide my own emotional reaction or release something of my own perspective into the medium which becomes the subject rather than that of the living. I am sure this statement will change, as I am sure you who are reading it will drink again. I thank you for taking the time to review my work.
